It’s time for a functioning government
IT’S TIME FOR MORE PARTIES!
The United States of America has a serious issue.
There really isn’t a choice for who gets to represent you.
Imagine a grocery store with only two types of meat or bread or apples etc.
That would be a pretty bad grocery store, yet we’ve accepted it when it comes to our political system.
But it doesn’t have to be this way. With your help, we can change it.
The solution is proportional representation.
There are two ways to change this: through congress or through the states.
The first option, through congress, is hard but one I plan on attempting.
At the moment, there’s a law that states that no district can elect more than one representative.
Only congress can change that law, which will be a hurdle to achieve.
Yet I plan to make it happen by getting the right people elected to congress.
And that will require Your help.
I know what I’m about to ask is quite the ask but I potentially need you to vote for a party you wouldn’t normally vote for.
JUST THIS ONCE, I promise.
If all goes to plan, next election, we’ll actually have choices.
To do this, I’m going to ride my bike through all 50 states (well, as much as I can in three months), making sure to reach as many people, both rural and urban, as possible.
